I'm getting ready to pack for my ultimate trip, but first I need to figure out what to pack since I'll be biking, horse-back riding, hiking, rafting and maybe even diving or surfing. So how do I pack for a 3+ month long trip that includes all these activities? I'd like to go lite and bring one bag, but can it be done? Should I stuff all my gears/clothes into a backpack or duffel bag? I've searched all over the web and visited EMS and REI stores numerous times to find that "one" bag, and I've narrowed down to the following options:
- Patagonia Black Hole 90L + Osprey Manta 20 pack
- Osprey Aether 70 + Medium Duffle Bag + Osprey Manta 20 pack
- Patagonia Black Hole 90L + Patagonia Scramble 35 Backpack + Osprey Manta 20 pack
Yep, I've gone insane!
Whichever you pick, I trust you'll have a plethora of ziplock bags to sub-compartmentalize within. Bon voyage!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the 90 and the 20... you can fit everything you need if you pack correctly. Let me know if you need my expert packing advice :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure surfing or diving is a good idea. If you decide to do these activities, please make sure there's sufficient supervision.
